Emir Aydin is currently a freshman at McGill University, Montreal, Canada majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Technological Entrepreneurship. Further than his academic interest, he has a deep interest in computers & programming. He is designing webpages since 6th grade and programming since 8th grade. Being more interested in web programming, Emir likes PHP and ASP.NET; moreover, he is trying to improve his knowledge in these areas by setting up new projects. In 2008, Emir got a silver medal in the Infomatrix International Computer Project Competition with his project named Multi-Lang Content Management System which was programmed on a multilingual and optimizable base that no other CMS had.
Emir is more than academics and computers! His interests cover a wide range of activities such as sports, music and politics.
Emir played basketball in the school team for 6 years, and he likes to play table tennis too. Also, he exercises regularly every week. Besides, Emir believes that Powerball is an useful sportive instrument for building body strength; therefore, he is enjoying his powerball since last year.
Emir likes the way that the words and the music come together. He has lots of lyrics written for his traditional school band: TAC Echo. Emir used his another interest to help this one and established a new web site for his school band that formed a tradition in Tarsus American College, a high school with lots of history.
